Check out page error

Hi

I was just at the stage to finally test my site out and uploaded all the products and I'm now having a problem with my checkout page. I can add a item to the basket and view the basket put when I click the checkout button I get the following error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

I have had to go back and start from a new theme and got the first checkout page working and then moved all my templates across and that worked, but then found out that none of my products came across. So refeshed the page and they are now their but I'm getting the Internal Error page again. Can somebody please help me as this is driving me up the wall. I had got all of this working and only just added all my photos and description and again it all goes wrong. Does this always happen.

It's ok I know now what the problem is. I was using the AUG code to have images as the buttons for the order form, instead of the grey buttons. Is the code wrong in the User Guide, I have looked at the latest version and it seems the same.

The checkout code has not changed a great deal in this area, but I did test this fix in v7 before releasing the v7 Advanced User Guide and Knowledge Base.

I can only think that maybe there is a problem with your code. Try copying an original OrderScript.pl from the 'Original' folder into Site1 and try applying the changes again. Feel free to post up your edited OrderScript.pl up here in case it still does not work.

I did what you said and got a copy of the OrderScript.pl from the 'Original' folder and made the changes but I still got the same Internal Server error. I can't attach my script as the file is too back so could I email it too you. I have uploaded my old script as I'm testing the site out. Any advice would be great.

You should be able to zip it up using Winzip and then attach it to a post.

I suggest you get hold of the Word doc rather than the PDF for the Advanced Guide as I found 'Advanced Users Guide - 30' in the middle of the code you added to OrderScript.pl. If you remove this you should be fine.

Was that all it was. It just goes to show I should have checked what went in before saving it. Sorry about that as it seemed like a bit of a waste of your time.
