exporting catalog just locks up

when i try to export catalogue it just seems to lock righ tnear the end of the export any clues??

just sits there with blue line near end doing nothing

still doing it by the way still locks up

have you tried to compact your database recently, i have found this seems to cure a number of problems, also if it fails to compact it succesfully then the datbase has a problem in it
