External image link not working

Hello, please help.
Actinic business v7, trying to link to external excel spread sheet.
All works fine apart from the image links. I have mapped over the field headers, in actinic when i view my linked products all the highlight boxs are working so i know actinic is linked to the spread sheet, prices and product names all sjow up fine but the 'image' for a product does not. The image text box is empty but highlighted. I have tried renaming, resaving, its only .jpg images that are 100px wide by 80px hight 72dpi, saved in the main site folder.
Is there a bug with images, my link to the images is. 123abc.jpg
