different prices for different people?

Hi

We built a shop for a customer of ours. Now he has 2 sets of prices for different customers.

They have the general public who need to see one price and they also have staff who need to buy from there but at a dicounted price per product but the public dont want to see the discounted prices. if possible a login area where they could sign in to see the prices?

We are using v6 Catalog

any feedback much appreciated.

I think the way forward would be to use Actinic Business. Business can allow you to have different prices for different customers.

so for example, we could have the shop set up as it is now with prices that anyone could see but then also have a section where the staff could log in and see the same products but with cheaper prices yeah?

It wouldn't have to be a separate section. When customers log in they see the same products as when they were not logged in, but they see different prices for the products.
