    NorTree Menu bar (downloading time)

    Hi,

My previous buddy who has done the Menu bar of our site added the URL of this type:
    http://www.hst.com.sg/cgi-bin/ss0000...ehtm&NOLOGIN=1
Thus, the effect of it is that it will pass through the above URL before getting to this html page:
    http://www.hst.com.sg/acatalog/Special_Promotion.htm

Because i feel its delaying the downlaodin time, i went to the NortreeSectionTreeURL.js and change the url to the much shorter one (the latter). UPloaded and i see no changes. It still went through the same processs..went through the perl url and then to the html page. what can i do to manually to minismise the time of downloading time.

I have attached a portion of the NortreeSectiontreeURL.js. I hope this would give u a better picture of what i'm saying above. THank you in adv.

    Yours Swee

Check the NorTree readme for info on using the LinkPrefix parameter, as this will make all links absolute and skip going via the cgi script.
