    components ... uniquely optional

I have a product to which there are four versions.

two of these versions have no impact on the price, two increase the cost by £39.

I have set them up as components (which allows the pricing to work okay) but setting each component to optional means that someone can currently select all four options for one product.

is there a method of providing a buyer with these four (or whatever) choices, allowing the choices to created alterations in the price AND make only one of these choices selectable.

seems a straightforward idea .. can't see the solution.

    Hi David,

I have set this up using Components, Attributes and Choices.

    Take a look at layout.jpg.

Once you have set your Choices, open the Component’s details and click on the Permutations tab. Click fill list then add a price for the two choices. Click on the main products then the General tab. Make sure your pricing model reads "Sum of Product and Component Prices".

The final layout can look something like 1.jpg.

Let me know if you get any problems.
