Diasable any firewall you have and see if that then works. If it does work, then obviously switch it back on, but work on your firewall settings to enable its continued protection, but whilst allowing your actinic to upload.

You might also want to try a web | configure website details wizard operation to confirm the settings within your new location (machine) setup and see if that clears it.

You could also try upgrading to 6.1.5 and making use of the 'Enhanced FTP' feature which uses a more standard FTP upload that your firewall/connection might be happier with.

          try this

Hi, i had this same problem when trying to upload a site this morning. Our work internet connection has just been upgraded to broadband and our tech support guy told me it had something to do with passive ftp transfers ....

Open Actinic and Go to Advanced > Network Setup

under the FTP Details section, select 'Use Passive FTP Transfers'

This solved the problem for me, hopefully it'll help you too.

Let' see if we can find the problem.

              1) Does your network setup pass the settings test? This is usually a good indication of whether it will work or not.

              2) Is your server running on windows or Unix?

              3) Check that your cgi-bin directory has permissions set to 755 and not 644. They sometimes get changed when a host upgrades the server software.
