Postage free for some itmes but £2.50 for others

Hi

I want to be able to give free postage if customers are only purchasing greetings cards, then if they purchase gifts to charge them £2.50. I have set up different weights 0.00 = £0.00 and 0.01 = £2.50. I have then gone into all the cards and set the weight to 0 but this doesn't seem to work. Does anybody know why???

Have you specified a default weight in the Shipping Section?

Also you need to ensure that you have the Sipping by weight option ticked under Business Settigns, Shipping & Handling.

What you have done should work and some of my items are have freen delivery so they weight 0g and items that I charge for have a higher weight.

Thanks for this. I found out that it was a caching issue, my new shipping information hadn't gone across.
