Can a Coupon = a product

I want to offer free chocolate to select customers on presentation of a code is it possible to have a coupon equate to a product?

By the same token can I have a coupon equal and exta sum? ie Save £5 by entering coupon code 12345?

No, you can have a coupon give 100% off a product if a product in a spercifc group is added to cart.

This can be done but again a specific product from a group needs to be added first. Set your trigger to be "0.01" and the reward type to be "% off". If one of your customers purchases a product from the group defined within the "Discounts and sur..." and enter their code they will get the discount.

It might be an idea to experiment with customer accounts and logins. You could set each customer a specific price schedule and use the generated option within the Product Detail's Price tab to set free products.
