Free Product rather than percentage off via Coupon?

Hi,

Is it possible to allow users to select a free product once they have either entered in a coupon, or when their total spent is over a certain amount?

Hi Stu,

Do you mean you enter the code and a list of free products will be generated so the customer can select one?

This is not possible with the current discounting system. You can set up one free product to be available for free but the customer will have to purchase a specific product defined in a product group which is associated to the discount.

Let me know if you need more detailed instructions on how to set this up.

Thanks for you reply... I have already selected certain groupings so I can run a javascript menu over them... (two different ways to shop, one follows the structure of the products in actinic, the other follws groupings)

Your idea would work, but would this now be possible as I understand you cannot put items into 2 different groups?

How about having all your special offers in one group?
