    Order Processing Query

    Hi there,

We've been using actinic for over 2 years now, and our Order Processing computer is struggling with such a large database of orders.

What would be the best way to remove orders more than a year old from the system?
The old orders contain valuable data such as Telephone numbers and Email Addresses, whats the best way to export all this?

    Thanks...

We have an product that will export orders to a format that is easy to import into various contact management or email marketing tools, see the URL below for more details :

    http://www.mole-end.biz/acatalog/One...Marketing.html

You can also get the details by exporting orders from Actinic (although you have to do this about 150 at a time), or by exporting the person table from Actinic (but you will have duplicates) or by importing the data from the actinic database into excel (duplicates again but useful if you don't have access). You can then remove any duplicates by importing the data into an email marketing tool such as groupmail.

      Thanks for replying,

After posting my question here I discovered the 'person' table in the ActinicCatalog.mdb file which contains all the data we need.

      Cheers,
      John
