    Order ID is Duplicate

    I have just upgraded a site from V6 to V7, all appeared to go well until I placed on order on the system (Using HSBC Secure e payments gateway).

    The order was rejected at the very end of the transaction by HSBC :

    Message: The order is Invalid because the order ID is a duplicate.

    Does this happens on all orders, or was it just this once? What is your url of the website, so we can reproduce the error?

      Did you get this resolved at all, as I'm having the same issue. I have emailed HSBC support and I'm waiting for an answer but wondered if this is an on going issue.

        Hi,

        I did get sorted. When I upgraded a live V6 to V7 site the Order number was
        reset and as I used my own credit card origonally setting up the V6 site and again when testing the V7 site HSBC already had those transactions stored in their systems.

        The solution is to set the order start number higher than your last order no using Help Troubleshoooting Update order no.
