can you check your orders by ftp?

If you ftp (not using actininc) login to your servers folders, can you
monitor new orders arriving without actually downloading them?

Yes, if you manually ftp to your /acatalog/ folder within your website, and filter the directory to show only .ord files, then you will see a list of encrypted completed orders on your website.
