component options

Hi,

The products I'm offering have various components, attributes and choices that the customer can choose from.

Is there a way of making the customer to tick one component which would then stop another from being ticked? I realise this can be done with the choices and radio buttons, but I don't know the catalog well enough to know whether this can also be done with components.

Any help would be gratefully received.

I don't think you can set up validation rules between two components. You can only set up valid and invalid selections for options within a particular component.
