Is it possible to change choice names for an entire catalog?

Hello all,

I have been lurking for quite some time and have not seen this question come up, so here goes:

Is there a tool within actinic that will allow me to change a choice name throughout my entire catalog without looking at every single product with that particular choice?

We have a Porsche parts catalog and I am using the model numbers (911, 930, 993, etc.) as choices under an attribute. I would like to change one or two of the choice names and prefer not to manually change 200+ products.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have Access 2000 you could open the ActinicCatalog.mdb file in Access and then look at the 'ProductProperties' table.

Do a careful find and replace in there to do what you want - and don't forget to take a backup of the database first.

I used excel to do a find/replace and everything seemed to turn out ok.

I was just hoping for an easier way.
