Site Live - Moving Orders to Completed

Hi

I have now made my site live and have had HSBC move me from test to production so I can now take live transaction. I have just done a transaction and I'm having issue moving the order from pending to complete.

1) I have printed out the packageing list
2) I have made the line items as shipped
3) I have printed the invoice
4) the payment method is Pre-Authoised and is greyed out.

How to I move this to become a completd order???

You need to tell actinic the payment is complete.

Open the order and then do: View payments > add payment it should auto fill in the correct payment to complete the order.

Jan over at Mole End has some utilities that can automate this process for you.

Thanks for you help with this. Why do you need to do this as the payment has the status set as authorised?

You have your PSP set to preauthorise payments rather than take them immediately, so you have to then decide wether to take them or not and then if you do you order can complete, so Actinic doesn't know whether you have decided to take the payment which is why you have to enter the payment in Actinic, if you PSP was not in preauthorise mode you wouldn't have to enter a payment.

Thanks for the explantion that makes sense now. Yes I did want to take the money until I had sent out the goods.
