Extended Info Field Limit

I have a problem with an item that requires more space than the extended info field will allow. The error message says something like "The field can only store a limited amount of information. It is now full."

Is it possible to increase the size of this field?

And if not, how is this problem normally solved?

The limit seems to be 20Kb for the Extended Information / Text field.

One solution would be to keep your text in a separate file and incorporate that file into the generated pages by creating a new variable "ExtendedInfoExtraText" of type Filename (also check Use File Contents).

Then add that Variable into your Extended Info layout, just after the main description field.

Nothing will show if you leave ExtendedInfoExtraText blank and if you select a file, the contents of that file will be added to the page.
