i can not move products away from login using the content tree

With ver 7 you can make products go
next to home page by using the content tree in actinics control panel
if you look to the right of the quick search you will see that i have moved Brands online (products) to the right of home page
but now you can not move it up in ver 8
so products goes next to login
and other pages go to the left of products
can you change this in v8

please see this jpg to see what i mean

In design tab click on any of the navigation links .. navigate to the parent layout using the yellow up swirl at bottom left of the design window ... here you will see the layouts listed in order (home, cart, products, info etc) .. simply move the layout (it will be pink) to the correct position.

also this make products come 2 time
        i.e
(home) (products) (more pages) (products) (login)

(please note that this is on the home page)

Are you copying the layout for it to appear twice?

If you are wanting to show or hide layouts just on the homepage you can use a Block if condition to test IsBrochureHomepage .. although keeping a constant navigation at all levels of the site is often preferable.

its because when i move it to the right of home
then it also puts it next to more pages
              has above

this is a rather complicated thread.

i'm having trouble understanding anyone here, even you jont.
