Sub section list gone

Everything was fine yesterday, but now my sub section lists don't appear under my main section when I click on them - just a blank page except for footer.
Everything's still there in the content tree, and products appear fine beneath section if there are no sub sections. Just nothing when I have sections within sections.

check your section layouts.
Check your "Site Options" first, "layout" "Section" (presuming it's a site-wide problem) and check that the "Botton sub section list layout" and the "Top sub section list layout" are not BOTH set to "no layout"
If it's all ok here (ie one of those 2 has a layout such as "standard sub section list" entered) then work at the top of your content tree, checking the section layouts as you go!
