    Dreamweaver extension half working

    Aye guy's,

I get the Actinic menu in dreamweaverand lets me insert actinic layouts but on th actinic side there is no tab saying edit layout in dreamweaver. Also submit changes to actinic is not highlighted. I can see the layout i registered in actinic in actinic BTW.

Using Vista ultimate dreamweaver cs3 actinic 8.5.1

    Thanks,

    Regards,

    Bob

I think you'll find that a common and confirmed "bug" due to be fixed in a future release sometime (allegedly)

    sorry!

Search on DW CS3 as there are several threads regarding this version.

TBH the quickest way to work is to get the outer layout sorted in DW, register with Actinic and then to hack the HTML inside Actinic under the design tab.. editing back and forth with DW seems very heavy handed to me once the outer layout has been sorted.

          Spot on JT.

Although we have not experienced any bug with the extension, it is much easier to work with the inline code editor...much cleaner and improves the workflow IMHO. (after the initial design in DW of course )

Inline code editor - The window in the "design tab" where you can edit Actinic variables, layouts and HTML directly in-line
