actinic keeps changing my cart buttons back!!

I've just changed the colour scheme throughout my website (BB) and I've created new gifs for the cart buttons (update, continue shopping etc)

I named tham all identically to the originals and copied them over into the site1 folder.

    All changed, uploaded...worked fine
But..Actinic keeps changing them back to the old gifs!

I then physically deleted the old ones from the site1 folder and added the new ones..all updated etc...worked fine..
but this morning...they've changed back AGAIN!!

Where is Actinic finding these images to swap them back again and, more importantly, why?

I've got enough to do without keeping an eye on them

I've been through this - very frustrating until I figured out what was going on.

If you go into "Advanced Themes" (not at Actinic PC at the mo. so I can't remember exactly where) and make any changes there, Actinic seems to recreate all of the buttons (and CSS, if I remember correctly) from scratch, thereby overwriting all of the stuff I'd done manually. I learnt to get stuff in there as I wanted it to be and then never touch it again once I'd started manual changes.

    HTH.

    Goz.

LOL yes this old nugget of a head scratcher. Name your buttons differently and then on the cart page, select the buttons and change the filenames to the ones you have created. Actinic can then change them to its hearts content on theme changes and it will not impact on the buttons you use.

        ooh..ok, thanks Andrew.
I've done that now so hopefully it won't do any more of its "own thing"!

        Many thanks

thanks Lee, I probably should have done that.
I was just preparing in advance and hoping to just have to drop everything into the site1 folder and be done with it LOL

          should have known better

Lee's solution is much better.... I'll be doing that in future. Should have thought of it myself!!
