I'm unsure whether this is a Bug, Feature, or Good Behaviour. It even works within Product Descriptions.

          E.g.

Bug: Jo's original post it broke some JavaScript.

Feature: Just type something like [Wowza] into a Product Description and it'll get traslated to <actinic:variable name="Wowza" />.

Useful: However it also lets us do things in the Product Description like

At the moment we have [StockLevel] in stock.

And we see on the page At the moment we have 3 in stock.

Which is a very neat way of doing something for the odd product that might have required a custom Layout.

However there will be many sites that rely on an external import file from a manufacturer and then you'll have no control over whether that contains [anything bracketed] or not.
