Displaying 3 Columns with fragments

Hi,

I want to display my fragments on my homepage in 3 columns. I know how to do this but my problem is i have fragments on the homepage that i don't want to display in 3 columns, so i need to know how to make only some of my fragments to display in 3 columns?

You can either adjust the 'list layout settings' which can get a bit technical if you are unsure, or you can choose to leave it as one columnar layout and embed your own html into a text only fragment layout where you want the 3 columns ie your own html produces the 3 columns you want, not actinic.
