could be a problem with permissions.

this happened to us when our host upgraded the perl version.

how about running the test in the network options?

how about a increment script id/purge/refresh if that checks out?

        host upgraded the perl version
They are always doing stuff behind your back - there have been issues like this before on the forum. Look in the network threads

the test in permissions is not working, it was last night, but they added permissions in to a subdomain today, so i have asked them to check the original set up.

is there any problem with conflict if you have a cgi bin in the main site and one on a sub domain?

The hosting company did tell me this yesterday:
I have given the cgi directory 775 permissions, it was 755. Due to security implications this is the relaxed i can allow the permissions to be

i have asked them to change the permissions back to what they were, so hopefully this is it!

            thanks for the tips. Paul.

                cgi-bin has to be 755
                acatalog 777

                Otherwisethe site WILL NOT WORK.

If your host can't give you these permissions you will have to find another host
