    relative sizing?

Can anyone tell me how to set my logo banner to relative sizing? The rest of my site adjusts nicely to the browser window but when you view it on a monitor bigger then 15" your greeted with a big white block!

Split it into 3 parts - left, center and right. Left is static, right is static and the centre is flexible and expands/contracts as it meets screen sizes that are different.
