theme colours on the fly

i may be delving out of my depth, but im interested where the theme colour scheme places pallete colours on the stock images.
and if they can be edited.
if so can other images be added and edited.

more software required..?
or an indepth knowlage of pearl perhaps..?

any pointers would be appreciated..

Search for "ActCBNMaker" and you'll find some info about the way that these colourable GIFs are made. Then run ActCBNMaker.exe (it's in C:\Program Files\Actinic v8) and you can see what it does.
