    Attribute Separator

In V7, you used to be able to edit the separator for attributes at the attribute level.
Where is it editted in V8? I can't find it at all.
And how come the ability to change it at attribute level was removed?
I'm having a hell of a job making mine line up like I want

    Morning Dolly

I can't check as my PC has been locked up doing a V7 upgrade for past hour (FFS). But i would first take a look on the list layout settings (the orangey thing), probably has an 'after list' item or alike.

the component attribute list layout I'm using is empty

only thing showing is   for an empty list entry
Mind you, I'm also having problems with it not "obeying" my attribute column count. I'm trying to change it from 1 to 2 (at product level) for some items and it's just not changing it.
It was, but now it isn't and I'm having problems with one section crashing every time I try to get into the design tab with it highlighted.

      Compacted..no change..
Undid all my last changes..still crashing
It's going to be one of those days (oh, and my internet connection keeps dropping )
      Maybe I'll just go home

        <actinic:variable name="AttributeSeparator" />

should be in your 'standard drop down attribute' layout.

I see it in the layouts, I just want to be able to change it.
I can't see where to actually change the variable (never mind at product level which is where I'd prefer to do it) rather than replacing it in the layout with something else

            Hi Tracey

The layouts that affect how attributes go next to each other on the page is either 'Standard Attribute List' (when you don't have the attributes within a component) or 'Component Attribute List' (when you do). You'll find both these layouts within the 'Attribute Lists' group in the library.

By default, both these lists use tables, which allows you to set the number of columns for the attributes within the 'Layout' field of your products (and overwrite it at the component level if necessary). What you see when you click the orange 'click here to edit list layout' link?

Maybe you could try reverting both of these back to the factory layout?
