    best sellers on the RHS

    OK, we are re-designing our site and are using the technical theme in V8.5.2 Business

    I would like to have the best sellers list on the right hand side but cannot figure out how to do it. I have been through the AUG to no avail. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful - even if its just a page number so I can try to figure the rest out myself.

    Also how do I put in another box on the right hand side?

    TIA,

    Graham

    Depending where exactly you want the box, you could try putting a table with columns into the innerlayout.
    Put the Best Sellers List variable in the right hand column.
    <Actinic:Variable Name="BestSellerListSidebar" Value="Sidebar Best Sellers List In A Box"/>
    Then put the rest of the content into the left or centre columns.
    Use html to code the table in design view.
    Or if you have dreamweaver and the dreamweaver link, you can use that to design your table.

        You will need to resize/redesign your css styles.
        This theme is a fixed width - readjust the style widths and floats and then you should be able to add an additional div to the RHS.

        If you aren't proficient enough to do this yourself then I would suggest perhaps using the Smart theme instead as it already ahs both left and fight sidebars.

          Several methods of doing what you want are already posted on the forum as it was a popular topic when V8 was released.

            Not too keen on the smart theme.

            Would it be possible to give me a clue as to how to readjust the style widths and floats and then you should be able to add an additional div to the RHS?

            If I cant get this I may have to look at the smart theme again but I would like to try adjusting the style sheets first

              Can you give me a clue as to what to search for as I couldn't find anything appropriate when I looked before I posted the question
