    Actinic stripping comments from headers?

    I am trying to impliment:

    Code:
    *<!--[if IE]>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="styles_ie.css" />
    <![endif]-->
    <!--[if IE 6]>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="styles_ie6.css" />
    <![endif]-->*
    which is visible in the actinic view but once uploaded it is stripped to just **

    Any ideas how to call alternative CSS files?

    Thank you

        Try a forum search before you post next time.

          i did several, but hey you must be using so much bandwidth if you searched each time before your 5,000+ posts.

          What a friendly welcome to my first post! maybe i should of just phoned up actinic in the morning using my actinic cover and wasted a techs time for 5 mins?

          try a search on:

          "separate css pages for different browsers"

          along with a few more, but hey you are the admin/moderator after all!.......?

            I gave you the answer to your question that was in the user manual so RTFM next time and yes call Actinic cos I will not be answering your questions again and waisting my time.

              but the thing is if i choose to do it either way thats my choice, i appreciated your answer as i am new to actinic and have spent maybe 3 hours trying to resolve this problem today, and as my post reflected when i said "Cheers Bud" it showed my appreciation, until your second post.

              in future if my search proves no results based on how my mind works for search terms i will post, if you don't like it make a note of my username and don't respond because although you have been helpful to many users I don't like your attitude in this thread, i feel its un called for and I would prefer you not to respond to my future posts.

              If you stopped replying to users with "Use the search Function" you probably have only 100 posts anyway!

              Good day bud....

                Thats 100 more useful posts than you will ever have.

                You are just another designer out of thier depth.

                Bye bud

                            And to RTFM by the looks of it.
                            You are typical of many "designers" who join the forum when they are told something they dont like they throw a wobbler and start ranting like a rabid dog.

                            Best you make use of your Actinic support contract in future -

                              Sorry to burst your bubble but your not staff here, nor control other members, and if i choose to post questions for support thats my choice and right as an up to date subscriber of actinic support.

                              I have been around and active in forums for over 15 years and in every forum they is always someone like you, a know it all who likes to preach the rules and look important.

                              Up until this post wasnt aware there was an Advanced User Guide. a forum is to post on, and provided for that purpose, if you want to get yourself all upset over a post dont get involved in a thread.

                              I thanked you for your help, and yes i had searched using 3 separate searches, so please keep your nose out were it is not welcome, your not an administrator nor a moderator so dont try and act like one, telling me what to do for future.
