Form tag in product layout...does everything need to be wrapped inside?

    Hi,
I have another form that I would like to display next to product details (to provide a start rating system).
However I know you can't nest form tags but i want it to appear in the layout under the product image with choices etc running down the other side.

This would be impossible to do in the product layout if the form tags needed to wrap everything, but if it only needs to wrap around choices, quantity, product ref, buy now button etc (everything that needs to be parsed to the cheackout) then I would be cooking, does anyone know what i can away with?
Is there a list of what need to be included in the form?

    Regards

Think in reverse. Just move your product image outside the existing Form (2 column layout perhaps), put your new Form below it and that's that.

      Hi Norman,
      Thanks for the reply,
My layout isn't actually that simple as I have split it up over a number of tabbed areas + related products appear under the tabbed area....however I will have a play and see if I can get anything working.
As a rule of thumb does anyone know what must stay inside the form and what can move?
      regards

what must stay inside the form
Generally only things that the customer can alter. Components, Attributes, Quantity, Prompts.

Make a dummy product containing everything that can be user selectable and look at the source of the generated page for <input ...> and <select ...> fields.

          Cheers Norman,
I had a play and it worked first time! Not often I can say that.
