Unique brochure pages

I have added my own html to my Home page but this has also been added to my Links page which is also a brochure page.

How do I make this Home page unique?

I have read the advanced user guide page 21 "Inserting Content to Only Appear on the Store Front Page" but this only seems to work on the Online Catalogue page and not the Home page.

If this html is content for the main body of the page, you would normally add that in a fragment.

OR

Include a block if condition around the new code that checks to ensure the page is BOTH a Brochure Page AND that the Page Name is the name of your home page (usually index.html).

Sounds like you have added it into the underlying code(template) and not into a fragment like you should be. Therefore if you update a template, everything that uses it will also have that part.

Reverse what you have done, have a read of the brochure page tutorial on my site and then start again sounds like your best bet.
