Layout Selector Problem

I've created a Layout Selector for Section Lists - however when I change the layout in the Page Details the layout doesn't change.

Has anyone else had problems with custom selectors - if so how did they resolve it?

Sometimes this happens to me if you find that the parent section is another layout. Try changing the layout of the parent section and see if it changes. You can always change the layout back later.

It hasn't got a parent section - however I did copy and paste another section to create it - maybe this is what is causing it - I'll create one from scratch and see if that solves it. Thanks for getting me thinking - I'll post back the result.
