Checkout error message formatting

Hi Guys,

Near the end of my site,

Iv been frustrated trying to format the credit card error messages. I have successfully edited the error messages on other pages but cant seem to on the final stage...

Here is a screen shot of the text i cannot figure out how to format:



Any ideas on this?

Hi,

If you look in the 'OrderScript.pl' file from your site folder (open it in notepad) and search for: # validation rules. From here on is where it is validating the credit card details and also puts up the error message. It's a bit complicated but where you see something like:

ACTINIC::GetPhrase(-1, 1974)

you can find out what this is by looking it up in 'Design | Text | Go To (Phase -1 ID 1974). If you make amendments to the Design | Text fields, don't forget that they may be used by other areas of the software. If you have made changes to the perl file previously then take a backup before you start changing it for this error message otherwise you can get the original from c:\program files\actinic v8\Original'.
