    Newbie css question

    Hi,

Just trying to get my head around Actinic and am a bit stumped.

Created a new .css style sheet with just a background colour and registered it with Actinic V9. Went back to my catalog and now all I can see is the CSS text and no catalog info.

I am missing something basic here - would anyone mind filling me in....

    Thanks in advance.

Did you save the css file in your site folder before you registered it?

Is it loaded last so not overwritten by actinic CSS?

Not even sure where they're being loaded as I cant make head nor tail of it.

In short the catalog had started to display only CSS and nothing else, no buttons, no test products.

Thanks for your help but I think I will uninstall and re-install the demo site and try again.

Can anyone direct me to any complete newbie posts on customization. I basically want to completely redesign the site to a clients specification.

          Thanks again.

If you're talking about the Actinic application it's possible that you're in the Design tab and have selected Actinic Stylesheet as the thing you want to tinker with (via Select Page Type).

Make sure the Content tab is selected. Also try Window / Restore Inital View Layout.

However, without a link to a live site we're only guessing?
