Page Preview Layout wrong - CSS link?

Haven't posted for a while but a small problem has occurred - not affecting site working but very annoying when working on the design.

The page preview in Actinic for just some product pages seems to have lost its template - it looks to me like it's lost the CSS link. There is no layout, just a long white page with lots of links. See here: Click image for larger version

However, these pages are set up exactly the same as other pages that preview correctly. see here: Click image for larger version

The design link just seems to have disappeared for no reason.
In the past I have got around this by creating a new page and copying the info over but its time consuming.

The pages display correctly online - presumable because the CSS link works online. Page working here: http://www.originaltouch.co.uk/acata...i_Trieste.html

Have already purged, compacted, refreshed etc.
    Anyone had this before?

I have seen similar issues and deleting the contents of PreviewHTML resolved.

I expect that on the problem pages you are using speech marks or apostrophes somewhere, i.e. " or '.

Copied and deleted all preview folders.
Also removed all " (there are " in other pages that still work.)

        Still the same.

Thanks for the ideas - there must be something else.

Are you using the same layout for fragments and products on the faulty pages as per the working pages? Temporarily delete the "faulty" fragments and products and copy as a duplicate from a section that is working ... you may have a malformed layout killing the code somewhere

OK found a hidden " in the meta description.
Deleted and all back to normal.
            Hope this helps someone else.

So " are okay in the text but not in the meta tags, which does make sense in html.

Error was that I copied the meta tags from some of the description text.

            Thanks for all your help.
Knew it would be something simple!
