Change Executive theme to 1024 width

I am using the Executive theme in verision 9 and wish to change the page width to fit in more information. I have searched the forum and think that most seem to agree (?) on 1024.

Although I have searched the forum and AUG, I can not find how to do this - can anyone advise?

The Executive theme is sized using css. You need to be able to understand css as it will require changes in many different areas.

Use Firefox and get the FireBug add-in - then use the Inspect on the toolbar in FireBug and you will see the css styles that are applied to each section. You can change them on the fly until you get what you want.

There are a few instances of the 762 width in the style sheet, replacing these with 980 seems to do the trick, i have only had a quick glance.

You may need to rework page layouts and product layouts as i have not looked to see if there are other fixed widths, although theres some nice %'s mixed in too
