Adding Featured Items in Marketing Tab to display on home page

I'm definitly getting too big for my boots here and I know the fragments can be used to mimick a featured products layout on the home page but is there any way of adding it to Actinic in a similar way to the new products and best selleres. I just want a manual tick box so that it can be included in a custom list.

The fragment method is ok but limited to the amount of product information you can call up, unless I'm doing it wrong.

    Many thanks

You can get cute with the existing marketing lists if you are not using the full 20 products available. You can specify for example that the normal BS list is to use products 1-12 and then a featured layout (a 2nd BS layout renamed) can use 13-20. Even better if you are not using the marketing lists within the central area of your site as you will not need 2 instances of the list to be included in the layout then.

I think Jont has previously detailed how to use these lists in this fashion and it will probably be in either the AUG or KB by now I expect.

I'd be happy to quote you for these. Is there a particular company name or URL you want to use?

Credit! That's what I meant to say. 'Credit' - not 'Quote'. Apologies.
