    Changing text leading / spacing

    Hi All

    I am re doing our Cotton Bunting site on V9 as since upgrading the GA doesn't work and I've tried taking out the V8 code and using the pre-set V9 but still no joy. However I've noticed that the product layout (both use standard image on left) the leading has changed and is now much closer together in the V9 site.

    current site www . cottonbunting . co.uk

    For the new v9 site it's about half this and gives the whole page a completely different feel. I've tried the variable for product description but there doesn't seem to be a setting for leading. I've looked at the text size and font's and both are the same for each site. I've checked the appearance setting for both and they seem to be to be set to exactly the same. I've had a look at the style sheet but there doesn't seem to be anything that I can work out that controls leading on font atributes, but it may be that I don't know what I'm looking for. The font style in the variable setting is set to normal and this is true on both sites.

    Does the overall style control the leading - we were in executive but the new site is controlled by the desing wizard as the v9 executive wasn't the same?

    Can anyone point me in the right direction please as I'm getting cross now!

    Many thanks

      No sorry, it's not live and I don't have a test space set up. But if you look at another of our sites www. flagandbuntingstore .co.uk you'll see the same leading on the text for the products. We want to keep the sites differentiated and the leading IMO make a real difference the brand image.

        what have you tried changing in your CSS?
        Looking at your current cotton bunting site, the following appears in your CSS

        p, table, td, th {
        line-height:150%;
        }

        It's probably near the top of the actinic.CSS in the current, live site but perhaps got added in manually, at some point, and isn't in the new design?

          Thank you so much. I hadn't looked at old style sheet and it's slightly different to the new one and I'm still getting my head around the whole CCS thing! The new style sheet didn't have a line height ref so I've just added that in and it works perfectly.

          You are a star I was just going round in circles and getting crosser and crosser and achieving nothing!
