    Permutation/Component Alignment?

    Hello.

I'm hoping one of you guys and girls can help me out on this one. I've asked a designer we've used in the past and all I got was a face similar to this...

    So, this is it:

I want the two drop down lists to appear on the same line as each other, horizontally. The current and (hopefully) future alignment is shown below:

I've messed around with an old snapshot and can't seem to find the all important trigger - has anyone come across this and got a quick solution?

    Muchas gracias

    Regards,
    Grant

If these two Attributes are part of the same Component, then set AttributeColumnCount to 2.

Select the Component, then in Layout / Attribute, set Column Count for Attributes to 2.

Or do this for the whole site via Settings / Site Options / layout / Attribute.

Excellent - this has done the majority of the job - only got a few niggles with it now.

One component consists of one checkbox and two drop down lists (Checkbox to select that Grade of Fabric - and the two drop down lists to select the base cushion fabric and the scatter cushion fabric).

I have drawn red vertical lines on the screenshot below to show where the breaks in the table should appear - however, they don't. I have tried editing the component and list layout settings - changing the width of the overall component table, and aligning the td's to the left - however, still no joy.

Any ideas on lining this one up?

Many thanks for all your continued support

      Cheers,
      Grant

You should be getting something just like the AFTER screenshot you asked for in post #1. Were you altering the layouts? It looks like you've broken something. Try reverting them to factory defaults.

Thanks Norman - reverted the component list to factory settings - turned out to be a missing </td>, so everything's looking good again.

          Many thanks for your assistance.
