Attribute drop down for search

In v9 is it possible to add a drop down box of an attribute on to the top navigation bar. We wish to have a drop down box of finger sizes that can just be selected and the results dispalyed.

I have tried inserting a few variables but all come up with coding errors.

This is the sort of thing that I am looking for.

I set up a variable called Size which contains the sizes available for every Ring.

In the Search Settings box I made this a searchable property then let Actinic generate the Search Page.

If you then open up search.html in IE and select View Source you can lift the relevant code straight from there and paste it into the layout you want.

If you need any further help I'll try my best.

Many thanks for the info Andy. I spent a few hours on this last night and couldn't get it to work.

In the end I managed to get the required result using Javascript.
