Prices Display Ugly - anyone help?

Just a quickie !

I've tried everything. Please look at link below and its obvious the price display is awful. How can I make this nicer?

I'd love it to do this;

1-5 = £4.85
5-9 = £3.85
10-24 = £3.45

Instead of this

Price: (4 or fewer items) £4.85 (Excluding VAT at 17.5%)
Price: (5 to 9 items) £3.85 (Excluding VAT at 17.5%)
Price: (10 to 24 items) £3.45 (Excluding VAT at 17.5%)

even if i Could get rid of / reduce the long "(Excluding VAT at 17.5%)"
Ex VAT would suffice

Hi. I'm no expert but you can change the wording after the price by going to: design -> library -> layout tab -> then click on the + sign to open up 'prices' -> double click on the layout you're using which may be Standard Tax Exclusive Price, scroll down a bit, delete what's in the brackets and put whatever you want. You can right click on the layout and click 'Revert to factory' if things don't go well.

or use the design window and edit the parts you dont require, i personaly would hide the bits you dont want rather than delete them surround the bit you want to hide with

I have not looked at how your example is formed in actinic, it may require other changes elsewere

Also your examples are not the same "4 or fewer" is not the same as "1 to 5"

Thank you boys - it worked a treat - I did the <!----> thing aswell to save losing it. (regarding the 1 to 5 thing I get what you are saying Darren I sorted it)

Heres a Tip for Novices: I used this for Cine to DVD copies, I wanted a simple matrix - the more copies you buy the cheaper it is.

Tip: DON'T put anything in the normal PRICE field in the GENERAL panel of the PRODUCT. Start the first line with "1" otherwise it looks confusing to customers eg if you start with 5 it will say "4 or fewer items" - put hope this makes sense.

The only prob now is that you've introduced me to a whole new world of LIBRARY LAYOUTS !

Your site banners says you are cinetovideo.com not .co.uk also I would stead clear of domain names with hypens in but you may not be able to. Also if you are not indexed yet you can get rid of the acatalog in network settings as it will help with seo.

I want to follow your advice on REMOVE ACATALOG however;

Those instructions are for pre v9. I don't have actinic at the moment but go into network settings and you will see an option in the bottom left to change the acatalog.

WARNING. By changing it you will break any indexed links and rankings you currently have. This is a one shot deal as you should not change it again. You should wipe your server to clean out all the pages already on there and refresh the site.

WEB | NETWORK SET UP | bottom left'ish corner - click CHANGE button next to Online Store Folder Name.

I changed from ACATALOG to CINE (my keyword, as we do cine film transfer)

Anyone want to amend this then just go ahead.
