Can I swap this dot for an image?

When clicking a catagory from my main nav you get a list of sub cats,

What I would like to do is replace the red dot next to each sub cat and replace it with an image that represents the cat, Is this something that is possible? and if so could anyone point me in the direction of doing so?

Just define an image in the Sectoin Details tab and it will replace the dot.
