Adding Java Script

Hello,

I am a novice user trying to add a short Java Script into the left hand menu of my website above the heading 'Product Sections'. Adding the code will insert a hosted image which when clicked will open a pop up window providing a live service.

I would like the script to appear on all pages, please could someone instruct me how to do this as i have tried many times without success.

The code needs to be inserted into the outer layouts for the sections and the brochure pages (if using different layouts for each). Switch to the design tab and navigate up to the outer parent layout as far as it will go to the outer layout .. find where you wish to add the code and then copy and paste your <script>... </script> code accordingly

Copy how actinic does it as a guideline (if on V8), store the file in your site1 folder as actinic do with the 2 files they reference. If on V9, then open up the javascript functions layout and add yours into there, copying what they have done.
