Extended Information Page Issues

Hi All,

I'm currenty developing www.site4light.co.uk using Actinic v9 and have a little issue with the Extended Information page.

This is what I have:

• Generate Popup Page is ticked
• Display by, Clicking product Image ticked
• Image: Fliename is exactly the same as what is on my "General" page
• Automatic thumbnail image generated for product layout
• Image automatically resized for popup.

Here's my issue:

As I do this for every product, is there a way of getting the ticked boxes automatically ticked, plus the filename transposed accross from the "General" page?

I've attached some screen shots to show what i mean.

I hope I've made myself clear. Looking forward for some replies.

You could look into using an heirarchical import to do this.

I've had a go at that this afternoon.

Exported the file fine, edited the file & saved. The is a problem on import.

"No fields were found in the first line of the file"

The thing is I assume it's looking for the relevant fieldnames it exported, but I haven't changed anything.

I've tried to do it by changing just one entry in one cell of the cvs file & still the same problem.

Any ideas??

The import baulks if there is an empty last column - add a new column at the very end and populate with dummy text all the way down - save and import and set the import to ignore the dummy column

I take it that this is still the correct fix for importing files in V10.1, or would there be an underlying database problem if I have create dummy reccords for import?

You can do this for v10 as well.

I have on import mapping question mark on that last column mapping - how to ignore that?

Just click continue. The "?" means that the column is unmapped and that's what you want.
