Format for background image

in V9 does background image have to be in a particular format. I have tried a PNG file but it doesn't seem to work. I don't get the image showing in background. I want to use thids instead of plain colour

.GIF and .JPEG are the safest formats ... .PNG can cause issues with some versions of internet explorer

Have tried a jpg but still not showing up as background. Could someone take me through this step by step? I have done what was suggested in another post but it doesn't seem to be working for me

A URL would be best and some details about what you've done/tried.

Where you have defined the image, look at the bottom setting in the same group, you probably need to say no to the color option.

Thanks Leehack - on the button - had the colour set to True - changed it to False and the background was there! Thanks again, Nick
