Strugling to create an additional page without the changes being transfered to all.

I am getting closer to the solution.

Selected the brochure page I have created.
I select edit layout in dreamweaver.
Edit dreamweaver
Whenever I edit the layout then send changes to actinic the updates appear in all bochure pages can you help please why this happens.
What I am trying to do is have additional information pages that pick up and design or menu changes from actinic.

you're doing it all wrong.

you're editing the TEMPLATE, when you should really be creating CONTENT.

...try right clicking on the brochure page and adding a FRAGMENT.

Actinic separates presentation from content, so, you use a single template across your site, and then you can add plain text content, with fragments.

Sure I can add a fragment but cannot put html in the fragment for example an iframe to put a support form into the page.

I wish to have a forum on the site as constantly having my reply to contact us form spammed in customers email accounts this just seemed like a logical solution which would also improve the level of service we are delivering.

Another idea was to create an information page with tables & images ect.

Yes you can. Use a text only fragment and encapsulate the html in it per:
