    Dropdown Boxes

    Hi,

I have a number of option dropdown boxes for some products, how can I get them to be inline instead of one after another?

I've tried using styles in the CSS but having no luck.

    Any suggestions appricated.

pretty difficult to advise without seeing what you have already!
Is it uploaded? If so, where?

The client would prefer not to show the site untill it's finished i'm afraid, other wise i'd love to give you a link.

Basiclly all it is, two dropdown boxes, one for each option for the product.

At the moment one is below the other, but I would prefer to have them inline.

you'll need to play with list layouts then probably.
Column counts for attributes, most likely.

If I remember correctly, you need to edit the List Layout Settings for Standard Component List.

Design > Library > Layouts > Standard Component List

Click on 'Click here to edit list layout settings'

Open 'Edit Rows and Columns' tab

In the left column (No of Items)

Enter how many permutations you have that you want to place on one line.

If spacing becomes an issue, just edit the tags in 'First item', 'Middle items' and 'Last Item'.

That's how I did it IIRC, though in hindsight it starts to make products with 2+ options really untidy - I would only advise on doing this if you have a 1024px+ width site.
