Expert theme increasing size of main area

I appreciate this is a really stupid comment but i have been editing a template for hours have got most of it how i want but my brain is now fried!

How do i extend the main area on the expert theme, ie the sections / products i want it to be wider than it currently is

I would download firefox and firebug (both free) this will help you to see the css that controls the width of the sections you want to widen. it will help with other stuff too
