company logo help

I've rebranded my company and now have a great new logo that I'd like to put at the top of my site pages.
I would like the logo to go across the whole top of the page without affecting the buttons below or the size of the webpage.
I've had a go at doing this and it messes something or other up each time. Can anyone advise the best way to do this?

The underlying html and css that controls this area on your site will need adjusting to accomodate the new logo. I presume it's a different size. In the absence of both a URL to see what you have or a crystal ball to guess what you have, it will be pure guesses to assist you. Sizes of the logo would help too. In fact add it as per normal and upload in test mode or to a test site will be best. We will need to see the live code.
