Quantity box on product

Is there an option somewhere not to show the quantity box without resorting to modifying the layout code?

Without you saying why you don't want to see this field it's hard to answer.

Hi

Client wants to remove the quantity box from product layout to make the product look less cluttered. Instead the customer will add more than one product by either selecting the add to cart a second time, or adjust it on the basket page.

With this website the customer is fairly unlikely to want more than one of the same product because of what is being sold.

Wondering if there was an site options switch somewhere or whether it had to be done in the layout code.
